About This Mini-Course

This mini-course provides extensive coverage of how database views can be created, used, and updated; introduces standard techniques for authorization in relational databases. The content will be available indefinitely. You will be notified by email of any changes to content availability beforehand.

Prerequisites

It is suggested that you complete the mini-courses Introduction and Relational Databases and SQL before taking this mini-course. For the Views portion of this mini-course, it is also suggested that you first complete the mini-course Constraints and Triggers. Note that some computer science background is expected for all of the mini-courses in the Databases series. Please see the main Databases page for more information.
